Kimberley Ekapa Mining JV (KEM-JV) is situated in the City of Kimberley in the Northern Cape.
Experiential Trainee: Human Resources (Ref. KEM167)
Minimum requirements: • A Grade 12 • Completed N6 Human Resource Management or National Diploma in Human Resource Management • Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • A valid driver’s licence will be an advantage.
Other skills/competencies: • Good written and verbal communication skills in English • Sound interpersonal skills • The ability to work under pressure • Show initiative and be self-motivated • Report-writing skills.
Duties and responsibilities: • Follow a programme to gain workplace experience within specified areas and sections • Execute work related to Human Resources • Work in designated areas according to the Mine’s Standard Operating Procedures • Work according to the applicable policies and procedures • Submit progress reports to supervisors for assessment.
Please note: Preference will be given to children of Kimberley Ekapa Mining permanent employees, as well as individuals with the required qualifications who are residing in the local community (Frances Baard District Municipality) and who are citizens of South Africa. We will require proof of residence.
