Bursary (Ref. KEM166)
Requirements: • South African citizenship • Must be accepted to a University or University of Technology to study in any of the above fields • Achieved a minimum of 6 for Mathematics (NOT Maths Literacy) and Science for mid-year examinations • An Admission Point Score (APS) of 35
Applicants who are currently studying at University or a University of Technology should demonstrate good results. Please attach your results with your application, as well as the acceptance correspondence from the University/University of Technology
The value of the Bursary includes: • Full tuition fees • Full residence and meals (or equivalent allowance) • Annual cash and travel allowance • Life skills training (if applicable) • Compulsory practical vacation employment during December and January at Kimberley Ekapa Mining.
Bursary conditions: The bursary carries a contractual obligation, for which the bursar is required to work for Kimberley Ekapa Mining for a period equal to the study period of the bursary (on completion of internship period).
Please note: Preference will be given to children of Kimberley Ekapa Mining permanent employees, children on Company scholarship programmes as well as individuals with the required qualifications who are residing in the local community (Frances Baard Municipality) and who are citizens of South Africa. We will require proof of residence.
