SENIOR MARKETING OFFICER
Salary notch: R281 418 plus 31% in lieu of benefits per annum (Level 8) (Ref. 140337/5)
Requirements: • Relevant BCom degree in Marketing, IMM or National Diploma in Communication and Marketing • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing field • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills • Proven skills in use of social media and the development of website for a College • Self-motivated, with ability to work under pressure and deal with crisis • Valid driver’s licence • Excellent writing and communication skills • Proven computer literacy, including advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to interact and liaise with a diverse audience range • Good facilitation and presentation skills.
Duties: • Conduct market research and develop the marketing strategy • Identify and evaluable specify new profitable business opportunities • Create and develop new innovative ways to communicate the College message to their existing stakeholders • Contribute to the annual sales and marketing plan • Plan, project manage and market events and evaluate their success • Evaluate the effectiveness of all marketing activities • Develop and implement an internal marketing programme • Support the marketing division in day-to-day marketing activities • Develop and deliver marketing and communication strategies for the College • Be responsible for customer’s relationship and employee management • Write and produce marketing material (brochures, posters, flyers, etc) for the College programme, liaise with the relevant academic staff including Campus Managers • Source student and alumni testimonial; liaise with in-house and external designers for all College production and the National exhibition and Learner Recruitment visits • Coordinate the College’s exhibition both nationally and around JHB • Promote the College at events – assist and coordinate open days • Coordinate College events in relation to relevant to accreditation and advertising • Support the marketing of the College’s web design and track advertising for the College as required • Liaise with the College’s adverts through the office of the College Principal • Assist with proofreading, copy writing, editing copy and information collection for the College’s newsletter.
