Salary notch: R281 418 plus 37% in lieu of benefits per annum (Level 8) (Ref. 140337/2)
Central Office

Requirements: • Appropriate BCom, BA Human Resource Management degree/National Diploma • 3-5 years’ experience in relevant field • Knowledgeable about the functioning of a TVET College, and policies applicable in the sector • Understanding of PMDS and IQMS functions and providing advice to relevant stakeholder • Proven ability to implement internal systems and control to ensure sound operational management • Proven computer literacy, including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel • Proven report-writing and presentation skills • Proven skills related to the preparation and implementation of human resource-related plans • Full understanding of the work in registry and skills to manage: * Human Resource Administration * The appointment of new employees and verifying the process of HR allowance, awards, bonus and deductions * The processing of the monthly payroll * The process of termination and verifying condition of service-related transaction and correspondence.
Duties: Handle all Recruitment and Selection Processes within HR Department: • Administer process of advertising position, recruitment and selection and filing appointment contracts • Ensure validation of qualification • Administer issuing of letters of probation process and confirmation of appointment and do a submission • Administer staff remuneration, general salary increase and ensure that personal files of staff are properly placed/filed • Leave management: • Ensure that all leave taken are supervised and captured on the Persal system including Piler • Record keeping: Ensure all personal files are properly kept, appointment register is kept, compliance is properly articulated and exit interview is conducted • Oversee and recommend (approval) transaction on Persal and VIP according to delegations. Final authorisation rests with the Human Resource Manager • Implement conditions of service • Terminate service • Allocate and ensure quality of work • Undertake human resource planning • Meet the relevant audit-related actions as per the latest AG and ensure Internal Audit Action plan is included in performance agreements of staff and responded to accordingly • Address human resource queries.
