TALENT MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST
The successful candidate will implement recruitment, selection and placement procedures and policies in compliance with relevant legislation. He/she must ensure that the Company is at all times staffed and capacitated with suitably qualifi ed personnel in accordance with policies and procedures.
Key performance areas: • Facilitate and monitor the recruitment process for temporary and permanent employees • Compile detailed vacancy requisitions and discuss with relevant managers • Advise on Employment Equity requirements • Compile and circulate vacancy adverts internally then externally • Develop suitable questionnaires for interviews • Select suitable applicants for the interview (in consultation with the respective line manager) • Select a suitable panel for the interview • Perform background checks on selected candidates • Finalise employment contracts (in consultation with the respective line manager) • Report on turnover and recruitment statistics • Manage employee induction and orientation • Manage and monitor employee retention
• Monitor recruitment and talent management service providers (contract management) • Provide high-quality recruitment and talent management advice and services to the organisation • Develop and implement career and succession strategy • Execute supervisory responsibilities • Manage own performance and development.
Requirements: • A Matric plus relevant B degree/diploma or equivalent qualifi cation • 2-3 years’ handson experience • Sound knowledge of recruitment practices and relevant legislation as it pertains to human resources • Administrative knowledge and skills • Good verbal and written communication • Report-writing skills • Interpersonal skills • Numeracy and accuracy • The ability to work with people at all levels, internal and external to the organisation • Computer literacy • Organising skills.
