Human Resource Manager
Reporting to the General Manager: Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for Organisational Development projects, the Organisation’s transformation programme, recruitment and selection, as well as corporate social responsibility programmes and implementing the employee relations and engagement programme. He/she will support the delivery of the learning and development programme, support the GM in talent and succession management and ensure excellent HR administration.
We seek an excellent people manager and leader who holds a relevant postgraduate qualification, preferably in Industrial Psychology or Labour Law and has 5 years’ generalist HR experience at Middle Management, as well as experience in managing ethical trade (Fairtrade, SIZA, SMETA etc). Coming from a strong labour law background, he/she will have CCMA and union management experience. Above-average Excel and report-writing skills, strong HR consulting and advisory skills and a basic understanding of accounting principles and interpretation of financial statements are very important. Our ideal person has strong mathematical ability, shows attention to detail and is an excellent project manager. Able to work with various stakeholders across all levels, he/she is a noted people manager and team leader displaying excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in community engagement development. A valid SA driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the country are essential.
