Remuneration and Benefits Specialist
The incumbent, based in the Remuneration department, will put in place mechanisms to ensure proper governance, consistency and fairness with regard to remuneration practices, support and provide RBPl at operations with specialist remuneration and benefits advice/governance, benchmarking as well as ensure best practice. In addition, you will be responsible for data analytics related to remuneration and benefits and playing an active role in all remuneration-related activities (wage negotiations, bonus scheme administration, rate calculations etc). Further responsibilities include remuneration and benefits policies/procedures, administration, strategic planning, people management, change transformation and process optimisation, stakeholder relations as well as safety, health, environment and risk.
To qualify, you need a degree or National Higher Diploma in Commercial or Business or Human Resources, a recognised remuneration certificate, 10 years’ experience in remuneration, rewards and benefits and 5 years’ experience in leading strategy development. Knowledge of HR systems and related legislation and Rem – channel understanding are essential, along with computer literacy (MS Office, SAP System), interpersonal skills and competence in job grading systems, remuneration systems and practices. You need to be fit for duty/hold a Certificate of Fitness, have a clear credit/criminal record and a Code B driver’s licence. (Ref. B/FIN/17)
